I’m a storyteller, and my primary medium is music. However, I’ve also built a career specializing in social media and digital marketing. Here are some of my recent projects!

When I was tapped to join Authentique Agency as the Director of Social Media to lead social marketing strategy for the then-under construction National Museum of African American Music in Nashville, I couldn’t have been more excited to bring this vital cultural institution to life across the social media landscape. I curated social-first content celebrating all aspects of Black music, published long-form pieces amplifying each of the museum’s galleries, and produced and voiced special video series like the one above for Black Music Month, LGBTQ Pride Month, and Hip-Hop’s Anniversary.

As the Sr. Strategist for Global Social Media for Thermo Fisher Scientific, I delivered end-to-end social marketing and advertising strategy to a talented team of social media managers and digital experience experts in the US, EU, LATAM, Brazil, and South Africa to support educational initiatives targeting patients and healthcare providers. I worked in collaboration with my extended team to refine content strategy, produce thumb-stopping creative assets, and localize advertising campaigns for French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Portuguese-speaking audiences.

After a few years of short-term social media projects for clients, I got my big break as part of the in-house marketing team at MGM Resorts in Las Vegas as a Corporate Social Media Strategist. Running social in the chaos and excitement of the Las Vegas Strip is not for the faint of heart, but I had the extraordinary experience of leading social strategy for the opening of the Park MGM Resort! For nearly two years, I rolled up my sleeves and got down in the proverbial dirt to develop brand identity and voice for this new property. Milestones included the grand opening of dining experiences like Primrose and Juniper Lounge, the Las Vegas Aces’ and Golden Knights’ inaugural seasons, and announcing the first wave of Dolby Theatre residencies featuring Stevie Nicks, Cher, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, and Janet Jackson!
